We are writing to inform you about some exciting news that will take effect in the new year. If you have been in our waiting room the past week, you may have seen the new sign by the check-in window. If you have not, here is the scoop:
Heyl Family Practice is Expanding!
As a longstanding family practice in West View, we have taken so much pride in serving the families of the community over the last 75 years. When the opportunity to expand presented itself, we could not pass it up. Not only will this allow our team to help more people, but it will also provide more options for our patients. With the expansion we will acquire some new staff and a new office, all the while providing the same high-quality service you have come to expect from us – just shared across two locations instead of one!
Beginning January 1, 2022, Heyl Family Practice will take over Dr. Zillweger’s practice when he retires from Genesis Medical Associates. Like our practice, Dr. Zillweger’s practice has spanned generations. We are honored to build upon his legacy and continue providing high-quality patient care to a new community. His office is located on the Passavant McCandless Campus and after some renovation it will boast 8 exam rooms and a spacious waiting room on the third floor of the Medical Building (see accompanying map). Additionally, Mary Kate Wray, PA-C will stay on-board at the practice and join our team of phenomenal professionals. We are excited for all of this to enhance our already reputable patient experience.
Rest assured; this will not impact your care with us. You will still be able to see your preferred physician at our West View Office but if you choose, you can see them in McCandless if that is more convenient. As we get closer to the new year, we will communicate the finalized office hours and physicians’ schedules to ensure scheduling goes as smoothly as possible. In the meantime, if you have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! We are here to answer your questions and put your mind at ease.
